Black clock Air du temps - Kartell

Designed by Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet for Kartell, the "L'Air du Temps" table clock is both modern and original. Quitllet describes himself as a dreamer of a designer with an innovative vision, and this clock with its clean lines is a perfect example. Playing with solids and voids, it celebrates and gives shape to the fleeting nature of time through its wonderfully airy, lightweight appearance.

As though suspended in time, the golden hands of this minimalist creation tick away the hours with delicacy: you could almost lose yourself contemplating their endless oscillations. Pared back to the essentials, "L'Air du Temps" is made from hard-wearing plastic (transparent, coloured or glossy metallised technopolymer) whose understated shape and smooth, glossy surface allow the eye to settle naturally on the dial, the star element of this refined clock. Simple yet contemporary, the classic silhouette of this designer clock means it will suit any interior.
