Bench in solid teak and natural seagrass 110x40x45cm Porto - Bazar Bizar

The Porto bench by Bazar Bizar combines a teak structure with a woven seagrass seat. The contrast between solid wood and natural fibre gives the whole a handcrafted character, without superfluous ornament. The natural finish reveals the nuances of the teak and the regular grain of the weave.

Its low, elongated silhouette allows it to slip in at the foot of a bed, along a hallway or beneath a window. The depth remains moderate, which facilitates its integration into narrow passageways. Used as additional seating or as a surface for placing items, it finds its place in an entrance hall as well as in a bedroom.

Crafted from plant-based materials, each bench presents slight variations in shade and weave. These differences are part of the character of the piece and recall its manual manufacturing process.
