Layered rugs are designed in Stockholm and handmade in Bhadohi, India, a region whose expertise in knotted and woven rugs dates back to the 16th century. Founded in 2015, Layered has established itself as one of the most influential Scandinavian design brands, alongside references such as cc-tapis and Son Tapis, offering a singular vision: blending fashion, photography and architecture to create patterns with a strong visual identity.

The collection features 355 references and covers a wide spectrum of styles, formats and palettes. Layered rugs stand out through the exclusive use of natural or recycled materials, including wool, cotton and plant-based silk, crafted through sustainable production processes. Among the iconic pieces, the Teklan model plays with bold geometry, optical illusions and three-dimensional relief effects, while the Kivi collection, designed by the Stockholm studio, explores flat fields of vivid colour and dense textures. These rugs are aimed at demanding interiors, from minimalist living spaces to softly atmospheric bedrooms and offices with a strong aesthetic identity.
