Green Armchairs

Green armchairs make a bold statement for anyone looking to bring a note of character into their home without compromising on design. The Cool Republic brings together a selection of 50 models designed for the living room, from powdery sage green to deep forest green, by way of emerald and khaki tones. Each piece is chosen for its formal coherence and the quality of its finishes, whether solid wood frames, lacquered metal or woven rattan. Green is a colour that runs through eras and styles with remarkable consistency. In the Scandinavian register, it comes in soft, natural shades that pair perfectly with light wood and raw textiles. The Bloomingville Armchairs are a fine illustration of this, with their generous silhouettes and their ribbed velvet or bouclé upholstery in earthy greens. For those after a comfortable living room armchair with a stronger presence, organic shapes and rattan frames offer a distinctly contemporary natural alternative. The KOK rattan armchairs offer airy silhouettes that lend themselves just as well to a light green as to darker tones. The design armchairs in this collection stand out for the diversity of their proportions: compact for small spaces, wide and enveloping for more generous interiors, with high or low seats depending on how you intend to use them.

A green armchair has its place in any number of settings. In the living room, it punctuates a sofa in neutral tones with a botanical touch without weighing down the overall look. In a bedroom or a reading corner, it creates a visual and functional pause. To balance the colour, pair it with natural materials such as linen, oak or cane. If you would like to explore other chromatic directions, our selection of Pink Armchairs or Red Armchairs offers equally striking alternatives for dressing your spaces with conviction.
