Georges It's the story of an unrepentant curiosity; all materials, from plus supple to plus recalcitrant, to give birth to objects à la essential grace. A persevering soul, coupled with an eternal dissatisfaction, the unstoppable cocktail of those who create as they breathe.

Georges is a space of freedom and experimentation, of delicacy and contrast, infused with organic forms and the colors of sun-drenched garrigue, but also inspired bybrutalist architecture and the energy of the city. A space where gesture has pride of place, where surprise and irregularity are welcome. A space where local resources and natural materials are always at the forefront. All the objects offered here, after being prototyped by Mylène, come to life in the expert and poetic hands of Georges' team, in his workshop in Méritein.

The discreet Mylène Niedzialkowski shuns the limelight, preferring to hide behind Georges, the timeless name of a moustachioed ice-cream maker. The roots of this delicate colossus go back to her childhood. As a child, in Paris and then in Hyères, Mylène built and furnished miniature houses from scratch. Her grand mother, an upholsterer, and her grand father, a jeweler, instilled in her a taste for making things. Elle knows how to sew, embroider and knit, and loves making things. As for her parents, they're always on the move. They moved house fifteen times during her childhood and adolescence, each time wanting to redo everything in their new home soi. At an age when others are learning to dance or play music, Mylène learns to handle saws, drills, planers and other tools of all kinds. Elle also keeps a nomadic nature, with the need, wherever she settles, to créer from scratch a familiar universe that can be adapted elsewhere.

With a view to adopting an eco-responsible approach, Georges have rigorously selected their suppliers of raw materials and favored short circuits. Cotton cheesecloth is from Normandy. Combined with rotin, it is base the petals of hanging baskets presented in their original or colored trame.
