Brown Karup Design Beds

The brown Karup Design Beds bring together 54 models that showcase the brand's Danish craftsmanship: frames designed to make the most of every square metre, understated lines inspired by Japanese aesthetics and a brown palette that lends warmth and character to the bedroom. Ranging from light brown to deep carob, this shade sits just as comfortably in a contemporary interior as in a compact flat where every piece of furniture has to combine function with visual presence. All of these designs are available in The Cool Republic's Beds department.

Karup Design was built on a simple conviction: furniture should answer the real constraints of everyday life without sacrificing beauty. The Danish brand is renowned for its futon beds and solid pine frames with carefully considered finishes, with carob brown and dark brown among the most sought-after shades. Among the signature models, the Japan Bed embodies this philosophy, with its low height and near-floor-level platform drawn directly from Japanese tradition. Available formats cover the standard sizes, from 90x200 to 180x200, to suit every bedroom configuration. The matching Karup Design Bedding, with futon mattresses and integrated bed bases, is the natural complement to these frames and ensures visual coherence throughout the space. For a broader view of the brand's world, All Karup Design products are gathered in a single collection.

These brown beds are equally suited to adult bedrooms, student rooms and smaller spaces, thanks to compact models that are easy to assemble. Brown pairs naturally with natural cotton textiles, white walls or pale wood floors. To take the decor further, the Scandinavian Beds offer complementary alternatives within the same pared-back graphic world. A coherent choice for composing a bedroom that is both functional and visually balanced.
