Burgundy Karup Design Sofas

These burgundy Karup Design Sofas bring together 22 models chosen for their functional approach and their assertive Scandinavian aesthetic. Deep and beautifully judged, the burgundy shade delivers a strong chromatic presence without weighing down the space. Karup Design creates seating designed to suit contemporary interiors, with pared-back structures that prioritise use as much as form. Every model in this selection combines visual restraint with versatility, two values at the very heart of the Danish brand's DNA.

Founded in Denmark, Karup Design has established itself as a benchmark in affordable, well-designed convertible furniture. The brand is particularly renowned for its Karup Design Sofa Beds, with signature models such as the Roots and the Cube perfectly illustrating its knack for turning a sofa into a bed in just a few movements. In this burgundy collection, the options span several formats, from compact two-seaters to more generous versions, with fabric upholstery whose textures vary from model to model. The burgundy tone is used with a chromatic consistency that makes it easy to integrate into interiors with warm, earthy or neutral palettes. To explore the brand's full seating range, the dedicated section also offers alternative colours such as olive, for a change of mood.

This selection is aimed at anyone looking for a sofa with character without sacrificing practicality, whether in a main living room, a guest bedroom or a multifunctional space. Burgundy pairs naturally with materials such as light wood, linen or natural cotton. To complete a cohesive interior, the Cotton Sofas and the options in the Sofas Section offer elegant combination ideas, playing on textures and volumes to create a living space that feels both welcoming and well structured.
