Roots 160 embodies the very essence of Karup Design's DNA: you have not only a sofa, but also a bed and a comfortable armchair. By folding down the front legs and adjusting the backrest, you get a wonderfully soft armchair. By lowering the backrest completely, you have a cosy bed in which to recharge your batteries, firmly anchored to the floor. Fold the backrest in two over the mattress and you have an armchair of standard height. Roots 90 transforms quickly and easily, as if by magic. You get the idea? Please note that all our futons are handmade, so you may notice slight variations in size and weight.

Care : Do not place hot objects or candles directly on the surface. Wipe up any spilled liquid immediately using a damp cloth. Check regularly that the screws and fixings are tight. Fabric: if necessary, you can vacuum the fabric to remove dust and small particles. For stains, use a damp cloth dampened with a small amount of clear washing-up liquid and gently clean the affected area. Always use a clean, undyed cloth to dry the stain. Avoid getting the fabric wet.

Tips : Wood is a natural, living material, and its knots and natural variations give each piece its own unique character. No two pieces are exactly the same. Over time, the wood will develop a patina and adapt naturally to its surroundings, particularly to light, climate and humidity.
