La Bohème is unique. At first glance, it appears to be made of blown glass, but its size made that option unfeasible. Its designer, Joan Gaspar, rose to this difficult challenge by opting for polycarbonate.
The result is a translucent, organic and exciting profile that brings two volumes together in a single form. This allows for a large lampshade in a variety of colours that do not interfere with the interior, which is always white, delivering impeccable lighting with no loss of colour.
When lit, the Bohemia casts a white light downwards, while enhancing the lampshade with subtle hues and shadows. This interplay between light and shade defines the two volumes. The Bohemia is brilliant and striking, with exceptional light designed to surprise all who see it.
