Chlorophilia designer pendant light - Artemide

Chlorophilia is a new creation by Ross Lovegrove who, once again, interprets Artemide's expertise in the light engine of the luminous body, with his own unmistakable signature: his bucolic inspirations, his organic, fluid shapes. This is a highly scenographic yet lightweight pendant light. Its three fan-arranged, overlapping elements come into their own once switched on, when the pendant light reveals its delicate play of shadows interacting with the space. It consists of a body housing a COB LED that acts as both a heat sink and a phytomorphic element.

The suspended central body emits an indirect light, filtered and refracted by the transparent surfaces whose shapes are reminiscent of natural elements – leaves, for example – confirming that nature is a genuine source of inspiration for this designer. Here he signs a lighting piece with strong scenographic potential as well as excellent light output in the room it occupies. The elements making up Chlorophilia can be repeated and multiplied to create lighting that dresses the space on several levels or extends outwards in breadth.
