Bench in burgundy cotton 125x38x40cm Cosima - Bolia

The Cosima bench designed by kaschkasch for Bolia rests on a simple idea: to offer extra seating that weighs neither visually nor physically in the room. Its line is low, elongated, without armrests or backrest. The upholstered seat softens the rigour of the silhouette and invites one to sit as well as to place a throw, a tray or a pile of books.

The Canyon covering in smooth weave, here in a deep Burgundy shade, is composed almost entirely of recycled cotton. The material retains a discreet, slightly matt texture, which captures the light without reflecting it. This dark red works in contrast on a light wood floor as well as in continuity in an interior with warm tones.

Cosima finds its place at the foot of a bed, along an entrance wall or as a complement to a dining table, where an extra chair would be cumbersome. Its length allows two people to be seated and its shallow depth makes it practical in narrow passageways.
