But before all these uses, it is a pouf designed to give you outstanding seating comfort. It is in fact the contemporary version of the traditional Moroccan leather piece, whose rounded shape it borrows. As for its name, Simon Legald, its designer, chose it when he drew the seams, arranged in a star like the floor of a circus ring. To shape the piece and determine its comfort, two types of foam have been used: a firm foam in the lower section, which gives the piece its structure, and a softer foam in the upper section, in keeping with the "cool" spirit of this piece, which is also found in its velvet. Precise and minimalist, this pouf nonetheless retains a soft, whimsical and welcoming character, reflected in the range of colours of its various deep, warm velvets.
