Tim Rundle

TR Bulb is a clever solution for modern city living, inspired by the fact that people are increasingly becoming urban nomads, moving between cities and countries in pursuit of their careers and life experiences. The first collaboration between MENU and Tim Rundle, TR Bulb is designed to be carried from one flat to the next – simply screw it into ceiling-mounted sockets, no electrical know-how required. The strength of TR Bulb lies in its flexibility; it looks elegant in a variety of settings and arrangements, moving from one space to another as people relocate or change offices. It therefore made perfect sense to expand the range, adding even more possibilities with the new glossy opal iteration. TR Bulb sits perfectly within the aesthetic universe of MENU and Tim Rundle, who describes his work as "seeking to improve the manufactured environment through elegant and technically refined solutions".
