Pipistrello Lamp

Discover the Lampe Pipistrello: An Icon of Modern Design

Designed by the talented Gae Aulenti in 1965, the Pipistrello lamp continues to captivate design lovers with its unique, timeless style. Available in our online shop, this lamp is far more than a simple source of light: it is a genuine work of art that brings a touch of elegance and sophistication to any interior.

Unique Design and Practicality

The Pipistrello lamp is instantly recognisable thanks to its bat-shaped lampshade (“pipistrello” in Italian), inspired by the organic, dynamic curves of nature. Its telescopic metal base allows the height to be adjusted (from 66 to 86 cm), making it wonderfully versatile, whether used as a table lamp or a floor lamp. It comes in a choice of colours to suit any decor, from classic black or white to bolder shades such as red and green.

A Collector's Piece Designed by Gae Aulenti

Gae Aulenti, an emblematic figure of Italian design, is renowned for her ability to blend functionality with visual beauty. The Pipistrello lamp is one of her most celebrated creations and has been exhibited in art museums all over the world.
