Kann Design

Kann Design is a design brand that stems from a genuine family history rooted in artisanal craftsmanship. The Kann Design workshop was founded in Lebanon in 1958 before being taken over by Houssam Kanaan, the brand’s founder, who wished to carry on his father’s legacy.

Today, Kann Design is run by Houssam, Meghedi and Rudy, who work from a studio in Paris where ideas, colours, creations and designs are developed to shape the brand’s signature collection. Their project brings together talented designers united by a shared vision of contemporary design, as well as a collective of independent craftspeople, ensuring that every piece in the collections is a true testament to quality.

Cabinetmakers, welders, upholsterers, painters and cane weavers are just some of the trades that come together to work hand in hand, driven by a commitment to creativity and quality, and with a keen eye for detail.
