Hans Hornemann
In my view, design should strike a balance between aesthetic minimalism and functionality, whilst offering a user-friendly experience. As a designer, I strive to remain true to the material I’m...
The young Danish designer Hans Hornemann was awarded a Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from Aalborg University in 2014. Hans Hornemann focuses on combining aesthetic simplicity with high functionality in an expressive and light design. He is fascinated by industrial and technical solutions in design, both in terms of materials and modes of expression. Natural materials often inspire him, and he strives to strip design down to its bare essentials and reveal the inherent honesty of the materials.
