Designer
Gabriella Crespi
Crespi’s aesthetic is characterised by dualities, combining modernist functionality with a sense of the Baroque, and oscillating between clean lines and sensual curves.
Born in 1922, the Italian artist and designer Gabriella Crespi would have turned 100 this year. Throughout her extraordinary career in the world of design, she moved effortlessly amongst European royalty and the Hollywood jet set. Her undeniable glamour and sophisticated sense of style made her the muse of fashion designer Valentino and drew figures such as Audrey Hepburn, Gianni Versace and Hubert de Givenchy into her social circle.
