In 1998, the Finnish designer Jukka Setälä designed a unique pouffe. Fatboy Not contrary to what some people think it is called because of its big pouffe shape, but after the artist Fatboy Slim.

The name was on a CD cover that Setälä received at the end of the 90s. This gave him the inspiration for a brand name: Fatboy the Original. Dutchman Alex Bergman saw a lot of potential in the design of the Finnish footstool and acquired the exclusive sales rights in 2003. Over Pendant the last 15 years Fatboy has grown considerably. The footstool is undoubtedly the ultimate hero, but Fatboy does much more than just create footstools. The collection has grown to include a wide range of iconic products: from lamps, carpets and side tables to hammocks and the famous Lamzac. Today, Fatboy the Original is distributed in more than 60 countries. All products are designed with one goal in mind: to escape the daily routine with a big smile.
