Crème Atelier

Crème Atelier is a design studio specialising in the creation of decorative lighting with a distinctive and instantly recognisable style. Founded by Swedish designers Jacqueline Kessidis and Lucas Lind, the brand was born out of a desire to create functional objects capable of evoking emotion. Its signature product, the Soft Serve collection, draws direct inspiration from the generous, airy curves of soft-serve ice cream.

Each light fitting is made to order using 3D printing technology, enabling more sustainable production and minimising material waste. This manufacturing method also offers great creative freedom and allows for the creation of complex shapes that would be impossible to produce using traditional techniques.

The brand prioritises the use of sustainable and biodegradable materials, including bioplastics made from maize starch and recycled materials. This environmental commitment forms part of a wider approach aimed at reducing the design industry’s ecological footprint.

Beyond their functional aspect, Crème Atelier’s creations are designed as genuine decorative objects. Their flowing lines, delicate textures and soft colours bring warmth and character to contemporary interiors. Combining technological innovation, artistic sensibility and environmental awareness, Crème Atelier offers a new vision of lighting, where design becomes both an aesthetic experience and a commitment to sustainability.
