Black Mirrors

Black mirrors are one of the most versatile decorative accessories in the contemporary interior: their dark frame visually structures a wall, creates contrast and anchors the space with an authority that few other elements can claim. The Cool Republic brings together 89 carefully curated references, from independent designers to the great houses of European design.

The large black mirror is the reference format here: placed on the floor or mounted flat against a wall, it enlarges rooms with limited natural light and pairs effortlessly with oak, brass or polished concrete furniture. Among the most sought-after silhouettes, the black metal mirror wins over with its clean lines, its robustness and its ability to integrate just as well in a Haussmann apartment as in a loft. The industrial black mirror aesthetic, carried in particular by raw steel or wrought iron frames, remains a strong signature of the collection.

Shapes come in arches, rounds, classic rectangles and asymmetric outlines, in widths ranging from 40 cm to over 120 cm. The black design mirror finds its place in an entryway, a living room, above a console or at the foot of a dressing room. For bathrooms, moisture-resistant versions offer the same level of aesthetic refinement.
