Normann Copenhagen is delighted to introduce the new additions to its much-loved Bit range: meet the Bit armchair, bar stool, side table and coffee table, which embody a pixelated look and playful charm in an ingenious material. Like the Bit stool that started it all, these original pieces have been designed to meet the wide variety of needs of modern life, and to redefine the classic notion of the interior by inviting the outdoors in, and vice versa. The new Bit designs multiply the ways in which you can furnish both indoor and outdoor spaces in a truly unique manner, as they all withstand temperatures ranging from -10 to 50°C.
These new Bit pieces follow the aesthetic that is so characteristic of Normann Copenhagen's design: minimalist lines lifted by a playful touch. Robust construction and generous thickness guarantee enhanced durability and a long lifespan. Available in two colourways reminiscent of a beautiful terrazzo pattern, white/white and black, these pieces bring a sophisticated note to any room. Bit furniture is made from 85 to 95% industrial and household plastic waste, transformed using a specific rotational moulding technique in which plastic flakes are melted at 120°C. This low temperature means the melting process can be repeated without altering the properties of the material, ensuring the circularity of the piece's life cycle for many years to come. The Bit armchair is a modern reinterpretation of the classic armchair and offers unrivalled seating comfort, both indoors and out. Available in two versions, 65 and 75 cm high, the Bit bar stool reinvents the classic bar chair. The Bit side table and coffee table combine minimalist design with timeless colours, making them easy to place in any space, indoors or out. Thanks to its design, the Bit stool can be used in a variety of ways: as a seat, a small table or even a pedestal.
Versatile and adaptable, the Bit range now comprises numerous designs, all conceived to fit effortlessly into a wide variety of spaces, both commercial and private, from a trendy café to an elegant hotel lobby, and from a beautiful terrace to a cosy living room.
