Arcs - HAY

A shared love of colour and materials is often the inspiration behind many of Muller Van Severen's creations. The designer duo is constantly exploring new ways to bring out the natural beauty of the materials they work with, striving to give each material a presence of its own — as demonstrated here by the Arcs candlestick and vase.

Expressive, contemporary colours have been chosen to accentuate the shape of the Arcs candlestick and vase. The patterns are formed by a unified chain of vertical arcs that create an elegant scalloped silhouette. The lampshade, for instance, can be used either as a table lamp or as a pendant light. Both options create contrasts in depth, colour and form.
