The duo, who previously worked together in the group Norway Says, are active in many areas of design, but the studio has made a name for itself in the world of home furnishings – for both the general public and the contract sector – by collaborating with brands such as Muuto, Hay and &Tradition.

In their view, ‘a good product builds on and develops traditions whilst breaking the rules of those very traditions. Modifications and elements of surprise – even less radical changes – stimulate thought and reflection, even among those who may not be particularly interested in design. That brief moment of reflection is the window of opportunity through which we can connect with users, and that is what we strive to capitalise on.

The design duo are responsible for the Outline seating series at Muuto and the AV1 chairs and armchairs at &tradition. They have been named Norwegian and Scandinavian Designer of the Year and have received numerous international awards for their work on furniture, lighting and home accessories.
