A sketch frozen in clay. With Line-up, Dutch designer Annebet Philips, renowned for her playful, hand-drawn style, breathes new dimension into the serving ware of Belgian brand Serax. After her sculptural collection Carte Blanche, Line-up explores a different path: lighter, more dynamic, more direct. Plates and bowls oscillate between the flat universe of the sketch and the concrete world of the table, their contours emphasised by broad brushstrokes of vivid blue, a modern reinterpretation of Delft blue stripped of all ornamentation and reimagined as a bold contemporary gesture. The result? Serving ware that doesn't simply rest on the table: it animates it.
