Sonia Laudet - Market Set

Trained first in fashion schools and then in upholstery, Sonia Laudet channels her love of textiles and her ecological sensibility into her work. Poised between design and fine craftsmanship, her resolutely contemporary approach sits squarely within the Slow Life movement. Whether in fashion or interior decoration, Sonia Laudet pieces together offcuts of fabric, plays with rhythms of shape and colour and evokes her travels, where light and landscape intertwine, with a well-established singularity and rigorous, painstaking craft. Above all, this project is about sharing the same environmental and social values, which make the collaboration feel so natural. Salvaging and repurposing fabric offcuts lies at the very heart of it. The result, poetic and delicate, is an ode to this shared passion for textiles. To mark the occasion, Market Set is launching “MKS X SL”.
