Masters

The Masters collection by Kartell is available exclusively on our site, so you can bring this design icon into your indoor or outdoor space.

The Masters chair is the fruit of a collaboration between two world-renowned designers, Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet, for the Italian brand Kartell, which needs no introduction.

Sculptural, organic, pop – there is no shortage of words to describe the lines of the Masters chairs. Yet its distinctive feature lies in the linear, abstract shape of its enveloping, comfortable backrest.

As the story goes, its curves echo the emblematic pieces that inspired the design duo (the Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen, the Eiffel Chair by Charles and Ray Eames and the Tulip Armchair by Eero Saarinen).

Its width and height are perfectly suited to all kinds of tables, while its integrated armrests offer flawless ergonomics.

This attractive, comfortable chair works just as well in a dining room, a kitchen, an office or a bedroom.

Made entirely from polypropylene, a material that stands up remarkably well to the elements, the Masters chair by Kartell can also serve as outdoor seating, lending wonderful character to your terraces and gardens.

Such is its success that it continues to reinvent itself in terms of colour and size. Available in many shades with special finishes such as metallic black or copper, it also comes in a bar stool version, which you'll find in this range.

There are a thousand and one ways to bring the Kartell Masters into your decorative world: on its own, in pairs, threes or fours, in matching or mismatched colours.

This plastic chair, which has won over the whole world and the Cool Team, still has a bright future ahead of it!
