Jeko

The Jeko tables, sofas and armchairs have a frame made from ECOTeak, sourced from teak beams and components salvaged from the demolition of traditional wooden houses on the Indonesian island of Java — a demolition authorised by the local authorities. The reclaimed pieces are cut to measure, repaired with recycled wood, assembled and sanded to bring out their natural grain. The final stage involves hand-waxing using hemp cloths and wood shavings. Soft, inviting cushions complete its sinuous lines.
