Ixa

Ixa is a complete, versatile family built around the intelligence of an adjustable spherical head with rods and counterweights that light up the space and allow the light to be moved freely, creating functional, dynamic lighting scenarios.

This intelligent, progressive principle allows the Ixa family to grow with new versions.

A larger head is paired with two new structures – wall-mounted and ceiling-mounted – calibrated to balance the weight and light up the space in order to meet a variety of lighting needs.

Ixa brings light exactly where we need it, inviting a physical interaction with the object that makes us the conscious authors of our own pool of light, inviting us to adjust it to suit our requirements.

Ixa is the expression of functional, productive and sustainable intelligence, achieved through choices of reduction and simplification born of profound conceptual expertise.

Artemide and Foster+Partners share a deep-rooted approach to sustainable design that informs every stage of the product's development and stands as an essential value of the project.
