Set of 3 recycled plastic shelves 60 cm + 6 graphite black brackets - Tiptoe

The Cool Republic presents the new TIPTOE designer shelf trio, which here combines 3 white recycled plastic shelf boards made from around a hundred yoghurt pots! This explains the white colour of the boards. The flecks of colour, gold and silver coming from fragments of labels are so many clues to a former life. It is a real nod to Terrazzo, that famous mineral material which was also historically made from mineral waste. Each shelf is unique and reveals a story of its own, that of the past life of plastic, to which recycling gives a second youth!

The challenge of this collection was to overturn the material's initial lifespan. We go from a product used for an extremely short, fleeting period to a noble and robust object.

These durable designer shelves stand the test of time and are designed to remain functional for several generations. This is a circular approach that we admire at The Cool Republic: the transformation of an already existing material which can itself be recycled once again.

These boards are the result of an innovative manufacturing process. The plastic waste collected is reduced to shavings, then pressed to finally form the board. They are designed specifically to be paired with the legs or the BRACKET wall mounts.
The result is innovative objects resolutely turned towards the future of furniture! These recycled plastic boards are available in two colours and two sizes at The Cool Republic, and you can choose the colour of the mounts: a real favourite to end the year.
