The Cool Republic presents the new exceptional shelf TIPTOE, which combine here is a white recycled plastic shelf made from around a hundred yogurt pots! This explains the white color of the shelf. The colorful gold and silver flecks from the label fragments are clues to its previous life. It's a nod to Terrazzo, the famous mineral material, elle which was also historically made from mineral waste. Each shelf is unique unique and reveals a singular story, that of the plastic's past, to which recycling has given a second life!
The challenge of this collection was to reverse the initial lifespan of the material. We move from a product used for an extremely short and ephemeral period to a noble and robust object.
These eco-friendly and sustainable shelves stand the test of time and are designed to be functional pendant for several generations. It is a circular approach that we admire at The Cool Republic: the transformation of an existing material that elle - itself can be recycled again.
These trays are the result of an innovative manufacturing process. The collected plastic waste is reduced to chips and then pressed to form the tray. They are specifically designed to be combined with BRACKET legs or wall mounts. The result
is innovative objects that are resolutely focused on the future of furniture! This recycled plastic tray is available in two colors at The Cool Republic: a real end-of-year favorite.
