The Cool Republic presents the new exceptional TIPTOE shelf, which here combines a white recycled plastic shelf board made from around a hundred yoghurt pots! This explains the white colour of the board. The flecks of colour, gold and silver coming from label fragments are so many clues to a former life. It is a real nod to Terrazzo, that famous mineral material which was also historically made from mineral waste. Each shelf is unique and reveals a singular story, that of the past of plastic, to which recycling gives a new lease of life!

The challenge of this collection was to overturn the initial lifespan of the material. We go from a product used for an extremely short, fleeting period to a noble and robust object.

These durable designer shelves stand the test of time and are designed to remain functional for several generations. This is a circular approach that we admire at The Cool Republic: the transformation of an already existing material which will itself be able to be recycled once again.

These boards are the result of an innovative manufacturing process. The plastic waste collected is reduced to shavings then pressed to finally form the board. They are designed specifically to be paired with the legs or the BRACKET wall mounts.
The result is innovative objects resolutely turned towards the future of furniture! This recycled plastic board is available in two colours at The Cool Republic: a real favourite to end the year.
