The strong presence of the fabric material of the Timber armchair gives it the look of a comfortable cloud seemingly levitating above the floor. This floating effect is enhanced by the oak frame, which disappears beneath the body and reappears only at the back and on either side of the armrests. The character and dynamism of the piece are heightened by the choice of a two-colour interplay between the fabric and the wood.
