Delicate materials and artisanal craftsmanship – this is the very essence of the Formakami table lamp. A hybrid concept, fusing Asian inspiration, craftsmanship and a contemporary touch. Airy, bulbous shapes, crafted from ivory-white rice paper with accents of black lacquered ash, appear Asian and yet somewhat Scandinavian. Place the lamp in a modern setting and the cultural references disappear. Switched off, there is a sense of serenity. Switched on, there is intimacy.
