The collection Puff Lamp is a modern, sculptural interpretation of the traditional rice paper lamp, designed on simple, organic principles. The collection Puff Lamp pays homage to one of Asia's plus ancient lamp-making traditions. Rice paper shades have been used for centuries and originally adorned temple halls. It was also a trip to Japon that gave the inspiration for à la collection Puff Lamp, where designer Saskia Huebner saw countless variations of the rice paper lamp. This motivated her to find the right balance between sculptural playfulness and functional minimalism, and resulted in a collection that invites you to arrange different voluminous shapes in a playful way.
Puff is therefore suitable for grand hotel lobby, restaurant or small private room. Voluminous but light. The rice paper material allows créer a huge volume, without wasting unnecessary material or créer a heavy and impractical design. Rice paper provides a natural, warm light because it prevents the light source from being too bright and overexposed. The lamps thus submit a soft light, while appearing as organic sculptures in the given space.
