The Puff Lamp collection is a modern, sculptural interpretation of the traditional rice paper lamp, made according to one of the oldest lamp-making traditions in Asia. Rice paper lampshades have been used for centuries and originally adorned temple halls. The Puff Lamp collection was also inspired by a journey to Japan, where designer Saskia Huebner sought to strike the perfect balance between sculptural playfulness and functional minimalism, giving rise to a collection that playfully arranges different shapes and volumes. Thanks to its rice paper material, which is voluminous yet lightweight, Puff is equally suited to a large hotel lobby, a restaurant or a small private room. Rice paper delivers a natural, warm light, without wasting unnecessary material or creating a heavy, impractical design.
