Discover the Allez chair, the first chair made from separate components by Normann Copenhagen. Inspired by the bistro tradition that flourished in French cities in the late 19th century before being embraced all over the world, the Allez chair belongs to a new generation of chairs influenced by this café culture.
Through its design, its functionality and its recyclability, Allez brings the soft curves and structural strength of the bistro chair into a contemporary context. The result is a versatile object that evokes the past while adapting to even more environments and uses.

The Allez chair has a light, airy look, with a design rich in references. The organic curves of the backrest recall the lines of the body, and the curve at the bottom, along the seat, forms additional reinforcement ensuring optimum strength and seating comfort. Designer Simon Legald sets out to design honest objects, rethought for the needs of our times, and the creation of Allez was no exception to this principle.

Driven by the desire to create a sustainable object, Normann Copenhagen drew inspiration from other innovative sectors, such as the car industry, where replacing parts makes it possible to extend a product's lifespan. With Allez, Normann Copenhagen now brings this principle into furniture design: a flat-pack chair that can be taken apart, made from reusable materials and with worn parts that can be replaced in order to extend its lifespan.

Its discreet dimensions make it easy to store under the table, and its design adapts to every situation, from a small home to large restaurant dining rooms.

Allez is delivered as separate components, in flat packaging. This compact form of packaging reduces CO2 emissions from transport, while making this chair easy and practical to carry home. Supplied with a tool kit and an assembly manual, Allez is easy to put together in just a few minutes.

Its contemporary design and the endless options it offers allow Allez to suit any environment, creating a natural meeting point in our living spaces that encourages moments spent in good company.

For terraces, pavements or parks, this chair is available in moulded polyamide, with a discreet slot allowing water to drain away. For added comfort, this armchair features upholstery and fabric colours matching the chair in a high-quality outdoor fabric, Sunbrella, OEKO-TEX certified.
