Inspired by the bistro tradition that flourished in French cities at the end of the 19th century, before being adopted all over the world, the Allez chair is part of a new generation of chairs influenced by this café culture.
Through its design, its functionality and its recyclability, Allez places the gentle curves and structural strength of the bistro chair in a contemporary context. The result is a versatile object that evokes the past while adapting to an even wider range of settings and uses.

The Allez chair has a light, airy appearance with a design rich in references. The organic curves of the backrest recall the lines of the body, and the curve at the bottom, along the seat, forms an additional reinforcement ensuring optimum strength and seating comfort. Designer Simon Legald sets out to design honest objects, rethought for the needs of our times, and the creation of Allez was no exception to this principle.

Driven by the desire to make a long-lasting object, Normann Copenhagen took inspiration from other innovative sectors, such as the automotive industry, where replacing parts makes it possible to extend a product's lifespan. With Allez, Normann Copenhagen now introduces this principle into furniture design: a flat-pack chair that can be taken apart, made from reusable materials and whose worn parts can be replaced in order to extend its lifespan.

Its discreet dimensions make it easy to tuck away under the table, and its design adapts to every situation, from a small home to large restaurant dining rooms.

Allez is delivered in separate parts, flat-packed. This compact form of packaging reduces the CO2 emissions caused by transport, while making this chair easy and practical to take home. Supplied with a tool kit and an assembly manual, Allez is easy to put together in just a few minutes.
