Well proportioned and beautifully designed, the Elizabeth lounge chair boasts a majestic elegance that lives up to its royal name. Originally called model U56, it was later nicknamed the Elizabeth Chair after Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip purchased two of them during an official visit to Denmark in 1958. With its sculpted armrests, combined with a low leather-covered seat and a sleigh-shaped back, it is a superb example of Danish modernism.
