The Tired Man was launched at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild exhibition in 1935 and has since become an icon of Danish design. The embodiment of craftsmanship and comfort, this chair with its distinctive curves was designed by Flemming Lassen to feel "as warm and comfortable as a polar bear cub in its mother's arms".
Relaunched in 2015, this award-winning design is offered with soft upholstery, including sheepskin in a nod to original, and with natural or dark oiled oak heartwood legs and brass front castors for easy movement. A matching footrest provides additional comfort.
