Pure blue stoneware covered serving dish 25 x 9 cm - Serax

This "mineral blue" serving dish, speckled with a subtle "misty azure", sets out to combine two shades guaranteed to refresh your ideas! Pascale Naessens is especially fond of the "inlaid contrast" technique, which involves shading the look of a piece through a pointillist approach to colour. Just see how the slender droplets have come to rest on this oval stoneware piece, perfectly smooth and gently curved at the edge of the lid. The advantage here is that any marks left by exposure to water blend into a design that is both uniform and graduated.

But its real strength lies in the depth and lightness it evokes through its soothing, robust and abundant colour…!
