Alexander Lervik can confidently claim that Luna is the quintessential globe pendant light. The solution was to integrate the cap into the globe itself – it is concealed, yet easier to handle than any other globe. An experienced glassblower at the Polish glassworks suggested using an old, forgotten machine capable of polishing the edges of the globe and the lid with zero tolerance. On the opal and crystal globes, the lid is an invisible, integral component, and he has at last perfected the globe concept. Completed by a clear acrylic cross, the remainder of the suspension structure and the electrical cables are brought together in a single cord.
