Black coffee chair Valerie - Serax

For Marie Michielssen, créer a piece of furniture always starts with a series of sketches on paper. She builds the volumes with mathematical precision. The proportions must be perfect and adapted to the human body. For the Valerie low chair, she started with an elliptical base to which she added two rectangular planes, the seat and backrest forming a perfect angle for comfortable seating. She chose lacquered steel so that Valerie can be used both indoors and outdoors.
