The Brush collection of pendant lights was born out of a workshop in Vietnam, where designer Pierre Charrié explored lacquered objects. This artistic craft demands that colour be treated as an essential component of the object, working in harmony with its volume. Precious, highly technical pigments have been selected for this collection. The paint, made from crushed mother-of-pearl, gives the lights their unique iridescence and a perception of colour that shifts with the light. The shape of these pendant lights comes from the traditional craft of metal spinning, allowing perfect mastery of the oblong curve, halfway between geometry and organic reference
