A timeless piece. A timeless sofa bed. Roots 160 is the very essence of the Karup Design DNA: you have not only a sofa but also a twin bed, with the option of raising a comfortable backrest against which you can recharge while remaining anchored to the floor. Double up the backrest, fold down the mattress and you have a sofa bed at normal height. Roots 160 transforms quickly and easily, as if by magic.
You get the idea? Please note that all futons are handmade, so there may be slight differences in size and weight.

Care : Wood: The knots in natural wood furniture are what give each piece its unique character and charm. No two pieces are alike. You should expect natural wood surfaces to change over time when constantly exposed to the weather, sunlight and fluctuations in humidity. General care of the wood: do not place hot objects on the furniture, do not place candles directly on the furniture, wipe up any spills immediately with a damp cloth, and check regularly that screws and fittings are tight. Fabric: This blended fabric is made from 51 per cent cotton and 49 per cent polyester. Clean it only with a dry cloth to prevent stains.
