Roots 90 is the very essence of Karup's design DNA: it is not just a sofa, but also a bed and a comfortable lounge chair. By lowering the front legs and adjusting the backrest, you get a comfortable lounge chair. By lowering the backrest completely, you get a pleasant bed in which you can recharge your batteries by rooting yourself to the ground. By doubling up the backrest, folding the mattress over, you get a lounge chair of normal height. Roots 90 transforms quickly and easily, as if by magic.
Got the idea? Please note that all futons are handmade, so you may notice slight differences in size and weight.

Care : Wood: The knots in natural wood furniture are what give each piece its unique character and charm. No two pieces are alike. You should expect natural wood surfaces to change over time when constantly exposed to the weather, sunlight and fluctuations in humidity. General care of the wood: do not place hot objects on the furniture, do not place candles directly on the furniture, wipe up any spills immediately with a damp cloth, and check regularly that screws and fittings are tight. Fabric: This blended fabric is made from 51 per cent cotton and 49 per cent polyester. Clean it only with a dry cloth to prevent stains.
