A timeless sofa bed. Roots 140 is the very essence of Karup Design's DNA: you get not only a sofa but also a twin bed with the option of raising a comfortable backrest against which you can recharge while staying grounded. Double up the backrest, fold down the mattress and you have a sofa bed of standard height. The Roots 140 transforms quickly and easily, as if by magic. You get the idea? Please note that all futons are handmade, so you may notice slight differences in size and weight.

Care : Wood: The knots in natural wood furniture are what give each piece its unique character and charm. No two pieces are alike. You should expect natural wood surfaces to change over time when constantly exposed to the weather, sunlight and fluctuations in humidity. General care of the wood: do not place hot objects on the furniture, do not place candles directly on the furniture, wipe up any spills immediately with a damp cloth, and check regularly that screws and fittings are tight. Fabric: This blended fabric is made from 51 per cent cotton and 49 per cent polyester. Clean it only with a dry cloth to prevent stains.
