The design of this chair was also inspired by a chair used in the field by British officers in the 19th century: " La Tripolina Chair". Today the Airborne Design company is the official manufacturer of this great design classic. The AA chair is a nod to the oldest French architecture magazine "Architecture d'Aujourd'hui".
