The Dune bookcase draws inspiration from the organic, fractal forms of sand dunes and running water. To appeal to the human eye with impeccable proportions, its structure is based on the sacred geometric and mathematical principles of the flower of life and the golden ratio. While the lines followed by this shelf may appear spontaneous, every curve is calibrated by an algorithm in five measurements. This algorithm, devised not by a computer but by the designer himself, is repeated across all three dimensions of the Dune bookcase.
