The Dune bookcase is inspired by the organic, fractal forms of sand dunes or running water. To appeal to the human eye with impeccable proportions, the structure is based on the sacred geometric and mathematical principles of the flower of life and the golden ratio. While the lines of this shelf may appear spontaneous, each curve is calibrated by a five-measure algorithm. This algorithm, conceived not by a computer but by the designer himself, is repeated in all three dimensions of the Dune bookcase.
