Filip Arickx, known as the co-founder of the iconic fashion label AF Vandevorst, has been passionately practising glassblowing for the past six years. For his first collaboration with Serax, he has created OAK Lighting: lamps that translate the texture of oak bark into glass. The shape was inspired by an oak tree in a friend's garden. The collection comes in three sizes and six colours. After almost three years of experimentation, the result is a lamp that strikes a natural balance between sculptural art and functional design.
