Filip Arickx, known as the co-founder of the iconic mode brand AF Vandevorst, has been passionately practicing glassblowing for six years. For his first collaboration with Serax, he designed OAK Lighting: lamps that translate the texture of oak bark into glass. The shape is inspired by an oak tree in a friend's garden. The collection comes in three sizes and six colors. After nearly three years of experimentation, the result is a lamp that strikes a natural balance between sculptural art and functional design.
